SVS meetings are typically held in the evening on the second Wednesday of the month at rotating locations around the section. Any meeting that is moved from this standard date is indicated in red. Information is added and edited monthly, so check the site often!

11 September 2019 - [7:30 PM at Bucknell University] : The meeting will feature a presentation by our invited speaker and will be preceded by a social hour and dinner at 5:00. The guest speaker is Garry Smith, Ph.D., Director of Chemistry at Fox Chase Chemical Diversity Center, who will present a talk titled "Research and Development of Small Molecules to Treat Epstein-Barr Virus-Associated Diseases." 6 November 2019 - [7:30 PM at Wilkes University] : This year's Catherine Bone Lecture will feature Dr. Henry J. Pownall of the Houston Methodist Research Institute and Weill Cornell Medicine as the invited speaker who will present a talk titled "Cardioprotection via High Density Lipoprotein Therapy—From Biophysics to Mouse Models." 12 February 2020 - [7:00 PM at University of Scranton] : The meeting will feature a presentation by our invited speaker and will be preceded by a dinner. The guest speaker will be Matthew J. Tucker, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Chemistry at University of Nevada, Reno and the title of the evening's talk will be "Mapping Structure and Dynamics with Site-Specific Vibrational Probe Pairs via 2D IR Spectroscopy."
