  1. 9 September 2015 - [7:30PM at Bucknell University]: The meeting will feature a presentation by our invited speaker and will be preceded by a social hour at 5:00 and dinner at 6:00. The guest speaker is Eugene P. Mazzola, Ph.D., Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at the University of Maryland and the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, who will present a talk titled "Structural Elucidation of Saponins using F2-Coupled HSQC Spectra."   2. 21 October 2015 (third Wednesday) - [7:00PM at Wilkes University]: The fifth annual Catherine Bone Lecture will feature Peter Stang, Ph. D. of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Utah as the invited speaker who will present a talk titled "Abiological Self-Assembly: Predesigned Metallacycles and Metallacages via Coordination." The guest speaker will be Douglas Hines, Ph.D., Visiting Professor of Chemistry at Lycoming College and the title of the evening's talk will be "Nanomaterials and Photovoltaic Applications." The guest speaker will be Beth Haas, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Misericordia University and the title of the evening's talk will be "Random walks in virtual places: Modeling molecular diffusion on bacterial membranes."   5. 16 March 2016 (third Wednesday, change from previos posting) - [Susquehanna University]: The guest speaker will be Christine Phillips-Piro, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Franklin & Marshall College and the title of the evening's talk will be "Is it Easy Being Green?: Probing and Tuning the Green Fluorescent Protein using Unnatural Amino Acids ."   6. 13 April 2016 - [King's College]: The meeting will feature a presentation by our invited speaker and will be preceded by dinner. The guest speaker will be Dr. Leah Cleary, Ph.D., Senior Scientist at Pfizer Inc. and the title of the evening's talk will be "Lewis-Acid Activation of Sulfonyl Fluorides for Sulfonamide Synthesis: Enabling a New Monomer Set By Promoting Reactivity with Aliphatic and Aryl Amines."   7. 4 May 2016 - [Annual Awards Banquet at the Pine Barn Inn in Danville]: With the presentation of various local section awards, the Annual Awards Banquet recognizes both aspiring and accomplished chemistry professionals in the area who have helped to promote chemistry, the chemical professions, and the section. The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM and the guest speaker will be Dr. David Rovnyak of the Department of Chemistry at Bucknell University who will present a talk titled "Footballs, tweeting, and more: Tackling controversies with chemistry."
